  • 1 cup pumpkin purée
  • 4 oz cream cheese (at room temp)
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1 Tbsp milk
  • ½ cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in pumpkin purée and vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and pumpkin pie spice. Gradually fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined.
  4. Roll dough into balls using about 2 tablespoons each and flatten slightly on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake for approximately 15 minutes or until edges are set.
  6. For frosting, combine cream cheese and butter until smooth; add powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until creamy.
  7. Once cookies are cool, frost generously.
