- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 10.5 ounces cream of mushroom soup
- 2.8 ounces french fried onions (divided)
- 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- In a large saucepan, bring chicken broth to a boil; add green beans and cook for about 10 minutes (20 minutes for softer beans). Skip this step if using canned beans.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat; sauté onions and mushrooms for about 1-2 minutes until soft.
- Combine sautéed mixture with cream of mushroom soup in a bowl; stir in green beans, garlic powder, black pepper, half of the fried onions, and half of the cheese until mixed well.
