  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 & 3/4 cup flour
  • 3 tbsp corn starch
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (plus more for topping)
  • 9 Halloween Oreos
  • 1/4 cup Halloween sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, cream the softened butter with both sugars until smooth.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, corn starch, baking soda, and salt before gradually incorporating into the wet mixture.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and sprinkles.
  6. Scoop out dough (about 1/4 cup), flatten it, place an Oreo in the center, fold over, and roll it into a ball.
  7. Bake on the prepared sheet for about 10 minutes; they should look slightly underdone when you remove them from the oven.
  8. Top with extra chocolate chips while warm, cool for about 5 minutes on the sheet before transferring to a rack.
