  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp allspice
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup old-fashioned whole rolled oats
  • 2/3 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup cold, salted butter
  • coarse sugar for topping

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pie crust using your favorite method and chill it.
  2. Make homemade caramel sauce and mix it with peeled and sliced apples along with spices and sugar.
  3. Roll out the chilled dough, transfer it to a pie dish, and fill it with the apple mixture.
