Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs chicken breast
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 lb cheese tortellini
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups baby spinach
  • Olive oil spray
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion granules
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning mix
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon red chili flakes

Instructions

  1. Spray the slow cooker with olive oil.
  2. Place chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Pour marinara sauce over the chicken and sprinkle spices on top.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for about 4 hours.
  5. Shred the chicken with forks and mix back into the sauce.
  6. Add tortellini, mozzarella cheese, and heavy cream; stir well.
  7. Cook on LOW for an additional 30 minutes until tortellini is heated through.
  8. Stir in spinach and let wilt for about 10 minutes.
  9. Finish with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
