  • 3 to 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 (10.5-oz) cans unsalted cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp melted butter
  • 1 (16.3-oz) can refrigerated biscuits

Instructions

  1. Prepare a 6-quart slow cooker by spraying it with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides and place them in the slow cooker.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, onion powder, garlic powder, melted butter, and chicken broth. Pour over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for about 5 hours until the chicken is tender.
  5. Remove the chicken, shred it using two forks, and return it to the slow cooker.
  6. Cut refrigerated biscuits into eight pieces each and sprinkle over the top of the chicken mixture.
  7. Cover again and cook on HIGH for about 1 hour until the biscuits are cooked through.
