- 1/4 cup granulated white sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 12 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 large egg (room temperature)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Prepare the blackberry swirl by simmering blackberries, sugar, and water in a saucepan until thickened. Allow to cool.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
- Melt butter and mix in sugar, eggs, vanilla, and salt. Stir in cocoa powder and flour until just combined.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese with Greek yogurt, egg, sugar, and salt until smooth.
- Layer half of the brownie batter in the pan, spread cheesecake mixture on top, dollop blackberry sauce, then add remaining brownie batter. Swirl gently.
- Bake for about 60 minutes until a toothpick comes out mostly clean. Cool before slicing.
