  • 3 tbsp maple syrup (for icing)
  • 4 tbsp butter (at room temperature, for icing)
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste (or vanilla extract for icing)

Instructions

  1. Warm milk and dissolve yeast with sugar; let sit until frothy.
  2. Mix in melted butter, egg, and pumpkin puree.
  3. Combine dry ingredients; add to wet mixture to form dough.
  4. Knead until smooth, then let rise until doubled.
  5. Prepare filling by mixing softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and spices.
  6. Roll out dough, spread filling, and shape into rolls.
  7. Allow cut rolls to rise again before baking at 350°F for 25–30 minutes.
